Front feet I could manage by holding him against my chest. Back feet, never. He'd pull away every time and I'd get maybe one nail. Now all four feet in one sitting because he can't draw the paw back into his body.

I've been outsourcing nails for two years because I could never get past the third one alone. Did all four feet Saturday morning on my kitchen counter. He wasn't thrilled but he didn't fight me, and that's all I needed.

Third trim in and he actually goes and stands next to it. I did not expect that at all, I figured at best he'd tolerate it. The weight being off his own legs seems to be the thing. There's nothing for him to push against so he stops trying.

I thought my dog would lose it in this but he didn't. Took three short sessions like the guide says. He's a 16lb rescue and very much a no thank you dog about being handled. Now he just sits there and looks annoyed, which is a huge upgrade from what we had.

Once he's in it's completely hands free, which is the whole point and it delivers. But the first couple times getting all four legs through the cutouts felt like a puzzle. Start with a back foot. After a week it's twenty seconds.

Legs fold out and lock, hammock clips on. Maybe two minutes to assemble. Used it the same evening it arrived.

I was worried about it tipping over with him in it, especially since he weighs about 18lbs and does not sit still. It's fine. The four legs are wider apart than they look in the photos and his weight spreads across the whole fabric panel instead of one spot. Put it on a flat surface and it doesn't budge.

She's 11 and set in her ways. I'm on my feet all day at work so I didn't have patience for a long process, but short sessions are genuinely short. Two weeks of 90 second visits and now she tolerates a full trim. Would not have gotten there with my hands alone.

Twenty seconds to load, five minutes to trim. That's the routine now. First few times it was more like two minutes of wrestling to get the legs placed but you get the hang of it fast.

Didn't have to figure anything out. Clipped together, stood it in the tub, done. No setup to speak of.
